Canopian - Free Games
If you are looking for just some free online games, it isn't too difficult to find game sites in Google. However most sites have a lot of banner ads, pop-ups and other distractions. Often, by the time you have found a great site with interesting games without too many ads, your leisure time is up.
Most of today's games are made in flash or java, both technologies have advantages and disadvantages. Flash games load quite fast, but are limited in graphics. Java loads slower... In order to play either one, you need to download a plugin and these can be found easily on adobe.com and java.com.
We have a great collection of war games, including the categories 'war games', 'tower defense games', 'strategy games' and other shooting games. Some of these games are very addictive and fun, you'll enjoy many hours with advanced graphics and even learn a little bit about the history of wars, for example "Warfare 1917", "Mud and Blood 2" and "Art of War 2". One of the most interesting things about successful war-related games are that they don't necessarily have to have pretty graphics, but their appeals are based on strategy demanding gameplays with interesting storylines. It's pretty obvious that these games are mostly played by teenagers to college students, between the ages of 12 and 25 years old.
One of the most popular games is Elite Forces: Clone Wars, a great flash game made by Elite Games. The game features cloned army, just like Starwars, that must capture opponents barracks to produce even more units. Capture the biggest barracks to create units even faster and ultimately capture all opponents barracks to complete the stage. It sounds pretty easy but it requires good quick decision making to succeed.
Besides War Games and EF: Clone Wars, Canopian.com features hundreds of more Free Games, all playable online. Enjoy them in your spare time, and be sure to watch your time because these games can get real addictive! Sit, Relax and play!!

My grandpa was in the Korean war, he was reading his field manuals up until the day he saw conflict, and when their was a lull, or while he was injured, he was consulting them. His book says that most other officers did not do this, most didn't look at the books.
I agree, they should be reading this, it helped my grandpa out. Unfortunately, the material is not tested or required.
A silly question deserves a silly answer: Hold it till it gleams, then hop on right leg whistling "Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin. Works for me every morning.
A blend of both, for sure: The Middle Path.
One should always live the present moment. If you're enjoying, taking an off, party like its no one's business ! and don't think about anything else.
And if you're working hard on something, taking something seriously, you concentrate on it, taking out all the distractions and the incentives you derive from your hard work.
The key is to enjoy what you do, go with the flow and DON"T anticipate.
But one should be aware of the degree of seriousness you attribute to something. If you keep a tab on that, you know where to draw a line, create a balance.
