where can i buy plastic sheets for vacuum forming?
I want to build a Darth Vader helmet/mask. Sculpting is no problem, neither is building the vacuum former, but every web link I have found just tells me what kind of plastic to use, not where to buy it.
Google your own address then Map then Search Nearby and Plastics - Sheet. This should give you places that will sell you many kinds of plastics and will cut down from full sheets (which are 4x8 ft in US) Call them and ask about types and cost. Some specialize. In Dallas Texas, Regal Plastics is one such.

and yo just haven't foudnt eh right stuff yet
and you don't want to settle because you don't settle when it comes to your family
so you will find the furniture eventually

So I went to this thing, and was kind of disappointed. I was lucky enough to be at the table that John Sullivan chose, but only got to say about 2 words to him before the pushy TV camera butted in and talked with him the whole time until he had to leave! Still had fun chatting with other fans and helping out though. Plus I found some stuff to make a cool idea for a Halloween costume: Green Bay Favre Jersey plus a Darth Vader Helmet. Don't be too surprised if you see a Darth Fav-re in the fan shots at the dome!

I stumbled onto an answer that I had never thought of when looking for something completely different about Obi-wan.
The were saying that he was aware that his life force (later mitochlorians or whatever it was called) would return the balance of the force that Luke himself would need to overcome the darkside. The had a huge explanation but it came down to he was aware that his death would make Luke into the man he needed to become for the empire to fall, balance to be restored and finding Yoda. Basically it was the end of his path to die to help Luke find his own path.
In a very similar story, Namco was given the rights to the Star Wars license in the 80s….and proceeded to make one of the stranger NES titles out there….
R2D2 is stolen by Jawas….and when Luke enters their land crawler, he finds Darth Vader…a Darth Vader who quickly transforms into a scorpion.
Perhaps its all an homage to the scene in Empire Strikes Back where Luke enters the cave in Dagoba, and finds Darth Vader waiting for him….?
