Imperial Storm Troopers’ blaster rifle in Star Wars

My son is an ardent Star Wars fan and collector. He saw the first Star Wars movie when he was 5 [1977] and was hooked for life. Recently he bought the original cape for Boba Fett and was thrilled that his Boba Fett now had the cape.

A few years ago he asked me why I didn't keep the original boxes in which the many Star Wars figures came. I told him that his mother and I had better things to do than save boxes in anticipation that some day they might be valuable.]]>

[...] “Colbert Report” Star Wars Pop-up Book Cameo - Official Star Wars Blog: “Of course, it’s no surprise that Colbert loved the Star Wars book considering his ILM-enhanced chat with Jar Jar and an in-studio lightsaber duel with George Lucas himself. Here’s hoping Colbert continues with the Star Wars references. Any day Colbert wants to do an interview for our Star Wars Rocks series, we’ll be ready and waiting for his onslaught of Force-sensitive Truthiness!” [...]

I had to come out of the background for this one. The kids in my daycare LOVE Potato Heads. Last week I took the accessories and put on the table with strawberry playdough. Their "strawberry heads" were impressive.

Last summer, the boys were really into Star Wars. All they talked about was Star Wars..everything became fighter ships, etc. One of the parents donated as many Star Wars Potato Heads they could find to the daycare and when I put those out I had 8 little boys in "Star Wars" heaven.

Many happy adventures with your Potato Heads!

Maybe in some cases. Slave soldiers have been used in the past by other countries. It doesn't seem that unlikely. However, there were a lot of blacks that fought for the confederacy to gain their freedom. A pretty lucrative offer for a slave working on the plantation.

*I prefer a bit of description at the start of an adventure before play begins - but it's often Star Wars with an opening crawl anyway.*I've used an event list/bullet list style format for years for my home adventures, and end up describing scenes from those notes, on the fly. The list is linear, but the events themselves usually aren't.*I recently used this event list adventure style in a free Star Wars RPG Saga Edition adventure on my website (Unlikely Allies, if you are interested).

I'm going to throw in a recommendation for the X-wing Rogue Squadron series. While the art was sometimes hit and miss (except for the run done by Edvin Biukovic which is still some of my favorite Star Wars art) the stories were great. Almost like Top Gun, crossed with Lethal Weapon and a little bit of Three Stooges at the same time. All the story lines are collected as separate TPBs so you can get a story from start to finish with each one.
