June 1 O'Hare to Las Vegas..R U going?
Chicago O'Hare to Las Vegas staying at IP?
Anyone flying American Flight Number 1715 June 1, 2008 and staying at IP(Imperial Palace)? Hoping to find 4 people to do a shared Limo or 2 for a taxi to IP. Flight is due to arrive about 2:30 p.m. If you are flying from another city but arriving about the same time that could work also.
Taxi is cheaper and faster then a shuttle an who doesn't like to ride in a limo?
It's my sister 'n law (54) and I (53). We're just doing our yearly trip to LV. We did a shared limo last year with a couple going to Paris where we stayed that trip. It worked out well. It was fun when we ran into them a couple days later.

i'm looking for a cheap hotel on the vegas strip that's not too run down?
It seems like sahara and imperial palace are on the strip and cheap. but are they ghetto?
I'm also thinking of gold coast, i think they have a shuttle to the strip, and maybe i could walk to palms or the rio from there? or is it too far to walk?
Shuttles are actually annoying. They don't sound that bad, but they are irritating.

The Imperial Palace is the favorite for cheap rooms. It is so centrally located. But the super cheap Capri room in are in a separate three-story motel structure located 100 yards behind the main tower. They are pretty awful.

Gold coast is an easy walk to Palms or Rio. Orleans is nicer than the Gold Coast, but there is nothing around the Orleans. You would be on the shuttle all the time.

I like the Sahara, but once again you are always on the bus. And the bus is slow and crowded. If you can get the cheap room at Imperial Palace then at least you are in the center of the strip.
Ari, is this what you do in your spare time. Instead of grading my papers on time you do this? haha.
