There is a striking resemblance between the infantry battle droids in the Star Wars films and a sculpture by Jacob Epstein called ‘The Rock Drill’
Does anyone know if this is a ‘tip of the hat’ by George Lucas to the ethos of the art movement ‘Vorticism’?
