Star Wars - Episode IV - Trailer (original 1977)
Lego Star Wars Review January 2010: Set 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter
The Droid Tri-fighter is part of LEGO's Star Wars wave for early 2010 and features 268 pieces. Recommended for building for ages 7-12 this set is a re-release of an earlier Droid Tri-Fighter model that came out in 2005 when Star Wars episode Iii was released in cinemas.
This set is a re-release of set 7252 and is a huge improvement, literally. The set is bigger and a droid can even sit in the ball in the middle, even though the fighter doesn't need a pilot as it drives itself. The missiles are fired from the bottom and are larger than usual. The set comes with both stickers and printed pieces, the printed pieces being preferable.
The droid tri-fighter comes with special three battle droids, known as Rocket Battle Droids because of their ability to fly round in space with an attached rocket backpack. The droids were first featured in The clone Wars television series, episode Rising Malevolence when Plo Kloon's clonetroopers, deployed into escape pods, were slowly eliminated by these roving rocket droids.
The set comes with two regular Rocket Battle Droids (also featured in the Hyena Droid Bomber) and one Rocket Droid Commander who is distinguished by a yellow mark on his head and torso. The droids look a little different from the regular tan battle droids, their bodies are a gold color and their limbs a dark gray. The colors of this set are quite beautiful all round, and make a nice departure from all the gray ships we have seen recently.
Priced at $24.99 this is one of the cheaper sets in this new wave and is a fun set to play with, particularly if paired with the ARC-170 set. You always need some separatist ships to make your good guys look good and these droid ships are attractive, easy to manoeuvre and fun to destroy.

i don't know what you're talking about. I don't know why simpsons would spofo south park. it doesn't make sense
For those who don’t have time for the whole thing, I’ll sum up the joke and the story. The is a good read though and I recommend it. The premise of the joke started as friends of a friends playing a prank on this guy by giving him a “scrapbook from the future” which is all about him and how he is the leader of the resistance against the machines. A year later they follow up on the joke and actually fly him to Minneapolis, Minnesota and act out an entire skit with him going through trials designed for him in the future. Over the course of the next two years, they kept upping the ante and would occasionally make contact with to continue putting him through trials. Ultimately it leads up to an epic battle through time and space all played out on stage in front of an audience. Through out the entire three year operation, the main person, Kolin Pope (a.k.a Velocity Gnome), has no idea who these people are other than their character names. Much fun was had by all: “It had become quite a big deal on Antioch campus, and apparently Dylan had been hyping the show for well over a year.” Summary of the story line (It’s a long story, so summary is a relative term): Kolin is at home geeking out on the internet. A man(Zane Figiam) shows up at the door claiming to be from the future. He gives Kolin a which is about Velocity Gnome(Kolin), the leader of the resistance against the machines. He reads it, enjoys it, and talks about it on the internet. Ultimately he begins to forget about it. One year later, he is contacted by Zane again. Zane cryptically tells him of an event in Minneapolis and they discuss a date that Kolin can make it. A few days later, an unmarked envelope shows up at his door with plane tickets inside. He goes, and is greeted by “The Gatekeeper” at the airport. He has to decipher clues and as a result, The Gatekeeper takes him to a hotel and gives him another clue to work on. He solves it that night and the next day is taken to meet Zane and a person named Shags. Shags, he is told, is his right hand man in the future battle. Zane never shows, but Shags and Kolin are given a series of tasks to accomplish. When they finally reach their goal, Shags turns on him and claims that the real Shags is dead. His real name is Maggie Hark, and he is a robot from the future. Kolin manages to escape alive and with the lockbox they had found. The box contained another scrapbook entitled [Earth Just before dropping him back off at the airport, Zane reveals that he is in fact Kolin’s son from the future. Satisfied with the day’s events, Kolin goes back to his everyday life. 6 months later he learns of an exhibit at the Carnegie Art Center which is all about him. He tries to track down the creators of the exhibit, but they are too smart for that. They lead him down false paths and eventually lead him to go to the art center in the middle of the night. He doesn’t find anything there that night, so he is forced to return the next day and see the exhibit himself. There are pictures and stories, and even a video of the day that Zane first met “The Great Velocity Gnome”. Kolin finds a clue with a date and location in on of the pictures. The clue had been there since the exhibit was put up over a month prior. The location is an internet based game. Kolin brings along friends to this virtual battle ground where they face off with Maggie. They are defeated and forced out. However, as soon as the virtual battle ends, Kolin receives a package with a video tape and a ticket to the midnight premiere of Star Wars episode Iii which starts soon and he is forced to leave right away. At the premiere there’s a huge crowd, yet somehow a strange man finds him and gives him a package. Later, he opens the package to find the story of [“The Father Time The Father Time Loop explains that the battle between Velocity Gnome and Maggie has been raging on for eons. Each time there is a battle between Velocity Gnome and Maggie, Velocity Gnome is destroyed. Our hero Kolin is the latest version of Velocity Gnome. Kolin is the most powerful Velocity Gnome and is the only one who manages to beat Maggie. Obviously this is a bit of foreshadowing since Kolin is 0-1 with Maggie. The video tape is a record of other Velocity Gnomes from past and future. The day of the epic battle arrives. Kolin flies to Ohio and is greeted by a warrior named Leyzon and a silent man with a video camera called The Observer. Kolin goes through multiple events in which he gathers items and allies for the upcoming battle. This series of events leads him to the location of the battle. Kolin finds himself on stage in front of hundreds of fans all cheering for Velocity Gnome. It now becomes apparent that The Observer has been live broadcasting the days events to this crowd. Kolin stands there dumbfounded while music and dancers cheer on their hero to the final battle. Kolin meets Zane again who claims to be the one responsible for building Maggie. Zane was angry at his father from the future for not loving him, and as revenge he designed the most evil robot in existence. Then Maggie himself shows up and after arguing, Maggie turns on the doomsday device and destroys the key which can stop the device. Father time decides to help by sending Kolin back in time. Kolin first travels to the first night he met Zane three years prior. Then he’s transported to the first time he met Maggie disguised as Shags. Except this time Shags has a key which is the same as the key used on the doomsday device. Kolin steels the key but slips through time uncontrollably. Kolin finds himself in the far future where he must lead the resistance and fight robots. Then he is transported again to an even further future. This is the day that the future Kolin offends Zane and causes Zane to turn evil. Kolin does what he can to make amends but is forced to leave because the time portal is closing. Kolin finally finds himself back to the origional battle location and the argument between Maggie and Zane. Maggie turns on the doomsday device and destroys the key like before and leaves. This time though, Kolin has a spare key. He slows the doomsday device, but it still needs the code to shut down entirely. Zane has the code but wont give it up because he still hates his father, but they make amends and Zane gives him the code. At that moment Maggie comes back. Kolin looks helpless standing there all by himself against this powerful enemy. But then all the characters he had helped earlier in the day arrive to fight beside him. They do battle and Kolin is able to get to the console and enter the code. The machine shuts down and is destroyed along with Maggie. Zane and his father Kolin befriend each other again and return to their timelines. The End.
I’m older than President Obama. Not by much. But, geesh, when you’re older than the president, you’re officially old. When I was 18 it was legal to drink. I took a date to the original Star Wars (episode 4) movie, and got lucky that night too!
